Tom Chenault Jr. died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014, at a Denver, Colo., hospital after a brief illness. Celebration of life: Will be held at a later date in Colorado. Memorials: May be sent to honor Tom to the South Fork Carnegie Library, 31 Mall, South Fork, Colo. 81154.

Tom was born on Valentine's Day, Feb. 14, 1953, in Fort Worth. He graduated from Paschal High School and then attended TCU. He graduated from UT-Arlington with a degree in accounting and later received his CPA certificate. Tom worked in Dallas for several years for private industry companies until he became a partner in a landscaping business. After moving to Colorado in 1995, he worked with a state agency grant for AIDS education. Tom loved living in the Colorado high mountain country, enjoying Jeeping and camping with a special group of friends. He also enjoyed entertaining friends and family members with special gourmet meals.

Tom was predeceased by his father, Thomas Chenault Sr., in 1977.

Survivors: Mother, Frances Chenault of Fort Worth; sister, Susan Chenault of Cripple Creek, Colo.; partner of 30 years, Thom Holst; aunt, Mildred Bohning; uncle, James Ewing; and a host of family, cousins and friends.
