FORT WORTH -- Paul Irwinsky, 53, a retired plumber, died Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at a local hospital.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials: American Diabetes Association or American Heart Association.

Arthur Paul Irwinsky was born Feb. 10, 1952, in Fort Worth, son of the late Joseph L. and Wanda Rose Fincher Irwinsky. He was a graduate of R.L. Paschal High School and the LVN School at St. Joseph Hospital. He then worked at St. Joseph for 15 years following his graduation. He learned to be a journeyman plumber from his father-in-law, Tom W. Schnaubert, and later became a master plumber. He worked for the Fort Worth Water Department as a plumber and inspector and retired after 16 years.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Robert Hernandez III.

Survivors: Wife of 31 years, Mary Schnaubert Irwinsky; children, Lavena Hernandez and her husband, Robert Jr., and Arthur Paul Irwinsky II; grandchildren, Adam Michael Hernandez and Laura Ashley Hernandez; and brothers, Joseph W. Irwinsky and his wife, Joyce, of Whitney and John L. Irwinsky and his wife, Pat, of Azle.
